The Fashionable Expression of Oneness: The Infinity Scarf

Escher Modius Strip

Escher Modius Strip

This is a reprint which was first published in Bubbe Wisdom January 30, 2011

My sister-in-law asked me how to make an Infinity Scarf for her daughter. Women everywhere including the jungles of Honduras where her daughter presently lives are wearing these trendy scarves.

An infinity scarf is fashioned after a Mobius strip, a strip twisted and attached together to form an endless two-dimensional surface. The Mobius strip symbolizes the endless creating universe of non-duality and Oneness. The Infinity Scarf can be looped around the neck once or multiple times. What better way to transforms a mundane fashion accessory into a spiritually significant symbol of balance and union than to wear The Infinity Scarf?
