Busier Than A Dog-Walker In A Yard Full Of Cats

Things are heating up here at the loft as Sarah and I go into production for our first retail show: The HandMade Arcade listed in BuzzFeed as one of the Top 35 Indie Craft Fairs Everyone Needs to Visit.

We will offer wonderful smaller inexpensive gift items such as zipwallets, cup quilts, and lunch bags in addition to some show-special bargains from our clothing line. If you can’t get there (unfortunately it is on a Saturday and in the middle of Chanukah), shoot us an email and make an appt. to come see us at the loft. We might be busier than mustard trying to ketchup but we always have time for you!

Pittsburgh-based fiber artist, Louise Silk, creates art that combines aesthetics and functionality with meaning and memories. From the influence of a 1972 MS Magazine article to the current SILKDENIM label, her quilt experiences culminate in a display of her particular capacity to use her patchwork skills to piece together just about anything into an aesthetic meaningful whole.
